Wind energy industry meets at the 8th Rostock Wind
On 9 August 2019, “Rostock Wind” will open its doors to industry experts and newcomers for the eighth time. Well-known and new faces from the industry will open the events: keynote speaker will be Peter Stein (CDU), Member of the Bundestag and member of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group. He holds a direct mandate for the Rostock constituency and is a member of the Committee for Economic Affairs and Energy and the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development. Rostock Wind will take place at the Radisson Blue in Lange Straße overlooking the harbour.
Hermann Albers, President of the German Wind Energy Association (BWE), partner for the eighth time and opener of the symposium, will take a critical look at the development of the wind industry and German and European energy policy. Matthias Zelinger, Managing Director of VDMA Power Systems, will speak on the market outlook for the wind energy sector in Germany. Afterwards, the three forums Planning, Technology, Financing will deal with specialist topics presented by top-class speakers.
eno energy is also celebrating its 20th anniversary at Rostock Wind. In this context, the approximately 300 participants (registrations are still possible) will discuss current industry topics and enjoy the fresh breeze of the Baltic Sea on the evening sailing trip with relaxed networking.
