eno energy GmbH takes positive stock of Rostock Wind 2018
Presentations from the fields of technology, financing and planning offered the participants a variety of points of contact for networking, which could be further deepened during the evening excursion with two tall ships.
As in the previous year, Hermann Albers, President of the BWE, gave the keynote address and did not fail to use the event to make a clear appeal to politicians – instead of populism on the climate issue, there needs to be a clear commitment to the climate goals of the EU and the Paris Climate Agreement. Instead of thinking only in terms of one legislative period, generational responsibility requires constructive discussions on topics such as the expansion of the tendering volume, sector coupling or the further development of storage technologies.
Rostock Wind 2018 fits into a changed event concept of eno energy. In the future, the wind turbine manufacturer only wants to follow the cost increases of the annually growing number of necessary trade fair participations in a declining market as well as higher cost pressure on wind turbine manufacturing to a limited extent. For this reason, eno energy is opting for a comparatively small presence at WindEnergy Hamburg this year. eno energy is presenting itself with other mechanical engineering companies on a joint VDMA stand, which will be continued in a comparable form at future industry events.
